Fire Chases Penn Hills Family From Home
PENN HILLS (KDKA) - Fire chased a family from their home in Penn Hills Monday morning.
Two adults and two children were able to get out safely before firefighters arrived at the scene on Orchard Drive.
The fire is believed to have started in the basement around 5 a.m. before spreading to the upper floors.
The fire caused heavy damage to the home, but an estimate on the damage was not known.
The family thinks the fire was started by a candle in the basement.
