Jason Wu Line Causes Fashion Frenzy At Target

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's the latest fashion frenzy at Target.

Last year, the zig zag designs of Missoni flew off store shelves.

Now, it's clothing from designer Jason Wu.

Stores began selling it Sunday, and many of them have nothing or very little left.

The line also sold out on Target's website within a matter of hours.

Stores in our area that received some of the collection include: West Mifflin, Homestead, Ross, Harmar, North Fayette and Ohio Township, but many of those stores report there's little left.

Rhonda Sowder, from the Target in West Mifflin, said there was a line of people waiting outside when doors opened on Sunday.

Wu is famous for designing Michelle Obama's inauguration gown.

He decided to do a special line for Target.

April Hubal, publisher of local fashion magazine Maniac (maniacmagazine.com), said, "A lot of people love his stuff. His pieces go from $1,500 up, so the fact that you can get a piece at Target for $30 is very appealing for a lot of people."
