McKEESPORT (KDKA) — Police are investigating after a late night shooting at a McKeesport convenience store reportedly left the clerk who worked there injured.

The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. at the Bailey Avenue Express in the 2300-block of Bailey Avenue.

The gunman is said to have walked into the convenience store, and that’s when the clerk was reportedly wounded.

According to authorities, the clerk suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. While there is no word on the clerk’s condition, that person’s injuries are reportedly not life-threatening.

Police and K9 units searched the area for the suspect following the shooting.

Investigators have not released a description of the suspect or the condition of the victim.
