Teen Shot In East Liberty Identified
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Authorities are investigating after a teenager was shot in East Liberty Sunday as a church service was letting out.
The shooting happened on North St. Clair Street near Inner City Ministries.
Officials say a 17-year-old male was shot in the head.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim as 17-year-old Deontay Smith. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene.
There is no word yet on a motive or suspects in this case.
