PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — The Pittsburgh Pirates trimmed their roster to 26 players Tuesday by optioning relief pitcher Daniel Moskos to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Moskos made nine appearances this spring with an 0-1 record and 1.00 ERA. He made his major league debut last season with the Pirates, compiling a 1-1 record and 2.96 ERA in 24 1/3 innings.
Relievers Tony Watson, Jared Hughes and Chris Leroux are battling for the final bullpen spots.
