3 More Bomb Threats Reported On Pitt Campus

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Evacuations were ordered at four buildings on the University of Pittsburgh campus in Oakland this morning.

Officials say bomb threats were reported at the Cathedral of Learning, the Frick Fine Arts Building, the Chevron Science Center and Posvar Hall.

Students and staff were asked to evacuate while officials went through the buildings.

Meanwhile, frustrated doesn't even begin to explain the feeling from students on the Pitt campus.

There were seven total threats reported on Wednesday.

Victoria Hall, the Frick Fine Arts Building and the music building were all evacuated last evening.

Earlier, around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, three other buildings - including the Cathedral of Learning, Posvar Hall and the Litchfield Towers - were evacuated because of threats.

Around lunchtime Wednesday, there was a threat at Thackeray Hall.

The FBI is now in on the investigation, and Pitt is offering a $50,000 reward for helping to catch whoever is making the threats.
