Pedestrian Struck By Train In Glenfield

GLENFIELD (KDKA) -- A pedestrian died after being hit by a train in Glenfield.

The accident happened in the 100-block of East Beaver Street just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The pedestrian was hit by a Norfolk Southern train.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner was called to the scene.

The victim's name has not been released.
