PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An Amber Alert has been issued for an 8-year-old girl from West Virginia.
Authorities say Porshia Atwell was abducted in Princeton, Mercer County, W. Va.
Atwell stands at four-foot-two, weighs 75 pounds and has strawberry blonde hair.
She was last seen at Camp Creek, W. Va.
According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s website, investigators believe she may have been taken by her father, Tracey Atwell, and they may be traveling in a white Cherokee Laredo with West Virginia plates.
Anyone with information on the case is being asked to contact West Virginia State Police at 304-425-2101 or call 911.
