MOUNT LEBANON (KDKA) — One person was taken to the hospital following a fire in a duplex in Mount Lebanon Sunday.

Firefighters say they found heavy fire on the second floor when they arrived on the scene on Broadmoor Avenue.

Officials say one person inside the home when the fire started was able to get out.

Another person living there wasn’t home.

According to firefighters, the home didn’t appear to have smoke detectors.
