MEADVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) — The search for a potentially armed suspect has put the campus of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., on lockdown today.

Keith Green is considered armed and dangerous.

He is described as wearing a buzz cut hair cut and a long-sleeved tan t-shirt and shorts.

Police say he ran when they tried to serve a warrant Wednesday morning at a building on Loomis Street.

That’s when officials at the campus began using text alerts to let students know they should stay indoors and that a pursuit was going on near their campus.

Green is wanted in Ashtabula County, Ohio, for a shooting Tuesday. He is wanted on outstanding drug charges as well.

Until Green is apprehended, students from the college are being told to stay indoors. All classes and events on the campus have been cancelled.

Stay with KDKA for the latest details.
