Bucs: Pirates-Rockies Game 1 Postponed
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- The series opener between the Pirates and Rockies has been postponed because of inclement weather.
Light rain moved into the area late Sunday night and conditions are expected to be snowy Monday night. The game will be made up as part of a double-header Wednesday.
Game 1 starts at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday and James McDonald will be the Pirates' starter. Game 2 is scheduled to start 30 minutes after Game 1 ends. Charlie Morton will start Game 2.
Kevin Correia will take the mound Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. He was scheduled to pitch Monday.
There is a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday.
