PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Dejan Kovacevic joined Joe Starkey and Josh Miller of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN to provide some insight into where it all went wrong for the Pens.

Dejan placed some of the blame on assistant coach Tony Granato for not having his penalty killing units together, and Chris Kunitz for his inability to carry over his regular season success into the playoffs.

One other major problem Dejan had with the team was their inability to put shots on net when they had clearly gotten to Ilya Bryzgalov in the games leading up to the series finale.

We wrapped things up with Dejan getting his thoughts on the future of the team including Jordan Staal and how they’ll handle his future with the team.
