Teen In Custody After New Kensington Police Pursuit

NEW KENSINGTON (KDKA) — State police took an 18-year-old into custody following a police pursuit Wednesday evening in New Kensington.

According to investigators, the chase began at the Clarion Hotel and involved two hit and run crashes before ending in front of St. Joe’s School near Leishman Avenue and Locust Street.

State police say they found a loaded firearm and drugs inside the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

Drugs were also found at the Clarion Hotel, authorities said.

The teenager was arrested and was set to be arraigned on numerous charges.
