Local 5th Grader A Finalist In Google Doodle Contest

INDIANA, Pa. (KDKA) -- A fifth-grader from Indiana County has been selected as Pennsylvania's winner in the Doodle for Google contest.

Talia Mastalski attends East Pike Elementary School in Indiana. She calls her drawing "Travelling to Me."

The theme of the contest was, "If I could travel in time, I'd go..."

Mastalski drew a wormhole through the Google logo where she would travel to quickly learn about herself.

Mastalski's doodle was selected to represent Pennsylvania out of 114,000 entries.

She'll now be flown to New York City later this month where the national winner will be announced.

The national winner will receive scholarship money and his or her doodle will be featured on the Google website.

To help Mastalski become the national winner cast your vote by May 10.
