New Blood Test Could Predict Heart Attacks

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Heart attacks can happen at anytime, sometimes without warning. KDKA's Shelley Duffy talks about a new blood test that can predict if and when a heart attack can occur.

Cardiologist Dr. Tony Ferrah, who spearheaded the research, says the gene expression test determines how much artery blockage you have and predicts whether you have heart disease that can trigger a heart attack.
