HOMEWOOD (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man’s body was found on a Homewood street early Sunday morning.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the body was found on a sidewalk in the 700-block of North Homewood Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

Police say Elden Harper, of Wilkinsburg, was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There’s been no word of any arrests in the case.
