2 Injured In Allentown Shooting
ALLENTOWN (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were injured in an Allentown shooting Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 900-block of Industry Street around 4 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the chin and a 30-year-old man who had been shot in the chest.
Both of the victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive.
The victims told police they had given two African-American males a ride to the scene. After exiting the vehicle, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot the victims.
The victims' phones and car keys were also taken.
Both of the suspects were described as being about 18 to 20-years-old, wearing dark jeans and white t-shirts.
One was described as standing about 6-feet tall with a heavy-set build and dreadlocks. The other was about 5-feet-8-inches tall with a thin build.
No arrests have been made and anyone with information is asked to call the Pittsburgh Homicide Office at (412)-323-7161.
