Crews Called To Greenfield Standoff Situation
GREENFIELD (KDKA) – Emergency crews were called to a standoff situation in Greenfield Tuesday afternoon.
According to emergency dispatchers, the incident is taking place at a home in the 700-block of Melbourne Street.
Police were called after initial reports indicated that a depressed man threatened to harm himself or other people.
The SWAT team has also been notified and a negotiator is at the scene trying to establish communication with the man.
There is no word if the man is armed or of anyone else is in the home at this time.
