PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pirates Minor League pitcher and former 1st Round Draft choice Jameson Taillon joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN to talk about the season he has been having in the minors, and what his path to the majors looks like.

Taillon evaluated the season he has had so far through 10 starts and talks about the recent bad outings he has had after starting off the year on fire.

Despite not pitching well in his last 3 starts, Jameson told us he’d been working on some different things and has actually felt his best during those starts.

We also discussed what is different from last year to this year for Jameson and he told us about getting to pitch deeper into games, and what that has taught him.

One key Jameson said for his success is the use of his changeup which allowed him to get though lineup with more efficiency.

We wrapped things up with Jameson learning about his relationship with the Pirates other premiere prospects Gerrit COle, and when he expects his next promotion to come.
