Loose Pig Snarls Parkway West Traffic

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – This is the case of the Parkway Pig or as many call it the "Porkway Pig."

Tie-ups on the Parkway West are nothing new, but Wednesday morning a pig was behind it the problem.

It was 8:30 a.m. near the Green Tree exit and all of a sudden motorists spot a small pig crossing the busy highway.

The pig was well dressed, sporting a bandana around its neck. A picture of the pig - taken by a motorist - surfaced on Twitter shortly after.

People took pictures with their cell phones. One picture shows someone chasing the pig just before it disappeared into the woods.

So tonight the little piggy is still in the run, but keep your eyes open tomorrow morning.

The little guy appears to love rush hour traffic and highways.
