Power Outage Causes Problems At Allegheny County Jail

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A power outage caused some problems at the Allegheny County Jail Sunday evening.

The jail lost power around 6 p.m. and stopped accepting new inmates for a short time as a result.

The power was restored within about two hours.

A number of visitors were spotted waiting outside of the facility during the outage.

Duquesne Light is blaming the outage on a problem at the jail.
