84-Inch TV Stolen From Coolspring Athletic Club

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police say the suspects in the burglary of an athletic club in Fayette County were recorded on surveillance video at the club twice before the date of the current break-in.

The Coolspring Athletic Club in South Union Township appears to be an easy target. Located off of quiet Hopwood-Coolspring Road, burglars were able to take their time finding a way in.

"They actually removed like a vent type of thing on top of the roof and then were able to go down through the roof and into the ceiling of the building and gain access that way," State Trooper Stefani Plume said.

Once inside, the suspects took valuables that clearly took some effort to get out.

"They took an extremely large 84-inch television as well as numerous alcoholic bottles inside," she said.

Police say the suspects were caught on surveillance video at the club on three separate occasions.
They are planning to release the video at a later date if the case goes unsolved.

If you have information about the burglary, contact State police in Uniontown. Fayette County Crime Stoppers is offering reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
