PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pirates broadcaster and former pitcher Bob Walk joins The Fan Morning Show every Wednesday Morning at 8:20 a.m. for his weekly spot “Walk on Wednesday.”

Walk shares his views on Brad Linclon’s poor start last night in Baltimore. He said it’s hard to judge a guy on just two starts, but that is the sign of the times. In the past, they would take their time with guys, but now it’s all about winning and if you don’t perform, they will find someone else.

Walk also said that Pedro Alvarez is the only real power threat in the lineup, but if he continues to hit below .200 you have to look for Option B and if Casey McGehee continues to hit, he could be that guy.
