PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pittsburgh Pirates general manager Neal Huntington joins the Vinnie & Cook show on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.
Neal says he is pleased to see the Pirates pitching so well and says A.J. Burnett has surpassed his expectations.
However, he admits the Pirates organization hasn’t fared well in developing hitters, and offers his theories on why offense has been in short supply throughout the organization.
Neal also explains why he tends to be conservative in moving players through the ranks, and reads the tea leaves for the upcoming trading deadline.
