HOMESTEAD (KDKA) — Authorities were called to Homestead Tuesday evening following a shooting.

Police say one person was shot just before 6 p.m. in the 800-block of Sarah Street, possibly during a home invasion.

Officials have not released the victim’s identity, but he is reportedly in his late-20s.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital, reportedly with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Homicide detectives were called to investigate.
