'Walk On Wednesday': Offense Remains Inconsistent
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pirates broadcaster and former pitcher Bob Walk joined The Fan Morning Show for his weekly spot "Walk on Wednesday" which airs every Wednesday during the season at 8:20 a.m.
Bob tells the guys the biggest issue with this team right now is the offense is just too inconsistent.
"There are times when it looks like they have turned the corner and sometimes you just don't know," Walk said.
He said there were opportunities that should have led to a win. He also thinks that a call was missed on Michael McKenry who might have been tagged too high, but he would still would have sent him.
Bob also talks about the recent struggles of Erik Bedard and the Pirates' woes playing in Philly.
He expects that to change with James McDonald on the hill tonight. He calls tonight's game a must-win.
