PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Earlier this week, a woman was caught on camera stealing flowers from outside of the Bethel Bakery.

The woman walked up, pulled down the potted petunias and loaded them into the back of her vehicle.

Later that day, she came back and stole a second basket.

However, the owner of the bakery said she came back on Friday to return the plants and apologized.

“Things happen and it wasn’t like the place was spray-painted or somebody threw rocks through the store. In the scheme of things, it’s minor but still, something personal was taken,” John Walsh said.

After news of the theft spread, the bakery got some help from Trax Farms who donated some new plants to replace the stolen ones.
