Probe Into Penn State's Handling Of Sandusky To Be Released

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The internal investigation into Penn State's handling of reports that Jerry Sandusky was molesting children will be released Thursday morning.

Former FBI director Louis Freeh has been looking into whether Joe Paterno and other school officials helped cover up accusations against Sandusky.

It's also expected to shed light on Paterno's control over the football program.

The report will be published online at 9 a.m. as a PDF file on TheFreehReportonPSU.com.

Lawyers for former Penn State president Graham Spanier say he was not told about any incidents involving Jerry Sandusky and suspected child abuse.

His lawyers also say emails related to the alleged shower incident have been leaked without full context, distorting the record.
