PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — With recently acquired starting pitcher Wandy Rodriguez getting set to make his debut this weekend for the Pirates, Astros catcher Chris Snyder joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN in Pittsburgh to tell us exactly what kind of pitcher the team got.

Snyder told us how excited he is to see things working out for the Pirates after spending last season with the organization, and how he really isn’t that surprised after seeing the blueprint they were operating under.

When it comes to Wandy Rodriguez and what he does well, Snyder said he mixes pitches well, and the more he can keep the tempo of the game up, the better he gets into a rhythm and really pitches well.
