PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — According to multiple reports, Penn State lost two players to transfers Monday: quarterback Rob Bolden and safety Tim Buckley.
Bolden, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, left the team and has visited LSU. He started 16 games for Penn State over the last two seasons but dropped down the depth chart as Matt McGloin took over the starting duties.
Buckley has transferred to N.C. State.
Others remaining in the Penn State program have the opportunity to transfer if they desire. Because of the NCAA sanctions placed on the program, players are allowed to transfer without having to sit out a year.
