PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Jordy Mercer joins the Vinnie & Cook show on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.

Jordy was happy to hit his first big league homer against Arizona on Wednesday night, but he’s even happier to be in the lineup again on Thursday. He reveals his daily preparation routine, and tells how much he has learned from Clint Barmes. 

Jordy also gives his thoughts on coming into the clubhouse as a new guy, and looks at what the Pirates will need to do to pass Cincinnati in the division race.
