PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh police snapped into action when a call came in about a suspicious package in the city’s Shadyside neighborhood.

The bomb squad determined there was nothing dangerous under a tarp-like covering found in the 5400 block of Ellsworth Avenue.

Police shut down several blocks for about two hours late Monday afternoon.

Late last month, police disrupted a suspicious package near the corner of Ellsworth and Maryland Avenues.
