The Return Of Olde Frothingslosh
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Many years ago, KDKA-AM morning show host Rege Cordic broke new ground in radio, coming up with skits and segments that were revolutionary at the time or went beyond the boundaries of good taste.
One of the most famous was a fake beer he advertised called "Olde Frothingslosh," and the segment became so popular, that Pittsburgh Brewing bought the rights to the beer, produced it, and it became an overnight success.
Then, Olde Frothingslosh went away.
KDKA-AM's Larry Richert talks to Jerry Lorenz, president of the Olde Frothingslosh fan club, about how Pittsburgh Brewing is bringing back Olde Frothingslosh.
