2 Killed In Separate Area Shootings

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were killed in separate overnight shootings around the area.

According to officials, the first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wallace Avenue and Coal Street in Wilkinsburg.

A 15-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

He has been identified as Emery Lamberto, 15, of Wilkinsburg.

The second shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the Hill District.

Harold Young, 17, was shot and killed in the 2200-block of Bedford Avenue. Another male was also shot, but is expected to survive his injuries.

No arrests have been made in either case at this time.
