PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Pittsburgh Pirates’ broadcaster and former pitcher Bob Walk joined the guys on The Fan Morning Show for his weekly spot, “Walk on Wednesday,” following a big 9-0 win for the Bucs.

He attributed James McDonald’s strong outing to him being more aggressive and going after hitters, after “being a little too fine with things” in recent starts.

He explained why he was proud of Josh Harrison for not holding back, and barreling into Cardinals’ catcher Yadier Molina last night. He also addressed Pedro Alvarez’s huge night, and the third baseman’s up-and-down season.
