Where Did It All Go Wrong? Greg Brown Gives His Take
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Pirates broadcaster Greg Brown joined "Seibel, Starkey & Miller" on SportsRadio 93.7 The Fan to try to figure out where the turning point of the season was for the Pirates.
"Just like last year, I could not point to one moment. I don't know why this team just collapsed as it did," Brown said. "You can certainly point to one pitcher, James McDonald, not to put all the blame on him, but the pitching staff hasn't been the same since he really took a downturn."
We also talked with Brown about The Neal Huntington Show this past weekend, and his thoughts that if the team decided to bring in a new general manager, that it will lead to another five years of rebuilding.
"Seibel, Starkey & Miller" can be heard weekdays before Pirate baseball, 2:00-6:00 P.M., on your flagship home of the Bucs, 93.7 The Fan.
