Bouchette's Bye Week Briefing
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Steelers had Sunday off, but will get back to work this week. To talk about it, Post-Gazette Beat Writer, and 93.7 The Fan Steelers Insider, Ed Bouchette joined the Fan Morning Show on Monday.
We lead off with the health of James Harrison. Ed tells us that he does not appear to be healthy and every time he practices, he aggravates his injury.
This week, the team will receive some reinforcements as Rashard Mendenhall and Troy Polamalu will play. But, Ed doesn't think injuries are the main problem, as players who have been healthy have underperformed.
Even with Mendenhall, Ed thinks there will still be issues with the running game. The line hasn't been opening up holes, but it is possible that Mendenhall could provide a spark.
