Wilkinsburg Shooting Leaves 1 Man Dead
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating a shooting in Wilkinsburg that left one man dead Tuesday night.
Anthony Dawson, 25, was found inside an apartment along South Avenue in Wilkinsburg around 8:30 p.m.
Allegheny County Police said he was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim was inside an apartment, where he had been staying. Early indications lead investigators to believe robbery was the motive in the shooting.
