Family, Friends Remember Garfield Student Athlete

(PITTSBURGH) --- The family of 16-year old Ne'Ondre Harbour of Garfield were in the stands Friday night on the South Side for a football game between Pittsburgh USO and Perry High School.

Harbour was a star athlete as member of the football, wrestling and track team at Pittsburgh USO.

He was killed last week after becoming the victim of a shooting that stemmed from an argument outside of his home.

Many people wore buttons and ribbons during Friday night's football game in honor of Ne'Ondre Harbour.

"My son is here on this field and I want to thank everybody for the prayers and blessings that you've given our family," says the victim's mother, Denise Harbour.

"I'm happy to see so much support. If he didn't feel the love, he definitely feels it now," said sister Raven Harbour.

Our school community is truly mourning at this time but we'll get through it," says Principal Dr. Wayne Walters.

Friday around 9:20 p.m.,  Pittsburgh Police arrested 21-year old Brandon Sewell in Homewood.

Sewell is charged with Homicide.
