Man Injured After Hand Gets Stuck In Corn Picker

DUNBAR TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A Fayette County man was rushed to the hospital after getting his hand stuck in a corn picker.

It happened this afternoon on a farm in Dunbar Township.

24-year old Aaron Stash was trying to dislodge something that was jammed, when his hand got pulled into the machine’s rollers.  A neighbor heard his cries for help and called 9-1-1, but Stash was stuck in the machine for more than an hour.

Stash was taken from the farm by ambulance, then flown to Allegheny General Hospital.  Family members say he had been working on the farm for years.
