PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Offensive tackle Max Starks sat out of Wednesday’s practice as a maintenance day, but with the offense as a whole in need of maintenance, all the attention remains focused on the uncertain status of Ben Roethlisberger.

Could Big Ben play in Baltimore this weekend, just a couple weeks removed for a combination of a shoulder ailment and what he deemed a life-threatening rib injury?

“I don’t know. I wasn’t out there with him earlier. But if there’s any possibility that he can, he’s a strong enough guy,” Starks told 93.7 The Fan. “He knows his body better than anybody. I don’t know his health situation, but if he’s healthy enough to play, I don’t see why he wouldn’t.”

Kickoff between the Steelers (6-5) and Ravens (9-2) at M&T Bank Stadium is set for 4:15 Sunday on KDKA-TV, with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms on the call.
