Unstoppable Superbugs Invading Medical Facilities

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Superbugs are taking over our hospitals and doctor offices, and they’re unstoppable. It has to do with a strain of bacteria that is drug resistant, and the bacteria is changing faster then doctors can find ways to stop them.

KDKA AM’s Larry Richert talks to Dr Andrew Sahud, Chief of Infection Prevention at Allegheny General GH, about what superbugs are and how they are trying to stop them.
