Wednesday's KDKA Afternoon News: Dec. 5, 2012

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- In case you missed the Wednesday edition of the KDKA Afternoon News here are some of the highlights.

In the 3 p.m. hour, KDKA Radio's Bill Rehkopf talks with Allegheny County Council members John DeFazio & Heather Heidelbaugh about tonight's big hearing about tax-exempt businesses in the area.

In the 4 p.m. hour, Bill talks with Melissa Henson from the Parents Television Council about the annual ranking of best and worst TV sponsors for holiday shoppers.

Later, Bill talks with Bubba and Melanie Taylor from Star 100.7 about a unique social media promotion they are doing on the station.

Allegheny County Controller Chelsa Wagner checked into the program to talk to Bill about how her office is responding to Allegheny County Chief Executive Rich Fitzgerald's 2013 budget that slashes her operating budget.

Bill then talks with Greg Giannotti from the Fan Morning Show on SportsRadio 93-7 The Fan to get an update on the latest rumors surrounding Pitt Football Head Coach Paul Chryst.

To end the Wednesday show, Bill talks with two different guests. First, he speaks with Corporal Dan Hahn from the Cranberry Police about his return to service after being injured two years ago. Following that, Bill speaks with Pitt Jazz expert Nathan Davis about the loss of Dave Brubeck.
