PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It may only be December, but it’s time to start thinking about baseball.

Piratefest kicks off Saturday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Pirates team members Andrew McCutchen, Neil Walker and Pedro Alvarez are among the many people who will be on hand to sign autographs.

Members of the 1992 Pirate team will also be there, including Doug Drabek and Andy Van Slyke.

Piratefest will also include a toy drive, where donations will be matched with special Pirates items, contests and youth baseball and softball clinics.

Admission is $12 for adults and children 14 years and younger get in for $4.

The event runs Saturday and Sunday.
