Man Arrested In Garfield Shooting

GARFIELD (KDKA) - A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Garfield earlier this year.

According to police, the shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between two families.

On Wednesday, the United States Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested 25-year-old Geroge Johnson in Wilkinsburg.

On Oct. 15, a man was shot four times at the intersection of North Aiken Avenue and Colombo Street.

Johnson was charged with attempted homicide and a weapons violation at the time, but was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Thomas Bey was the man shot in that incident. Roughly 24 hours later, 16-year-old Ne'ondre Harbour was shot and killed in Garfield.

Police said the bullets that killed Harbour were meant for someone else in the feud.

Police charged 21-year-old Brandon Sewell with Harbour's death. However, Sewell's step-father is Bey.

Police are now hoping the feud is over.
