PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Route 40 in Somerset is open again after a crash Monday afternoon.

Police say a minivan and a tractor trailer collided on the road around 3 p.m. near the Maryland state line.

Traffic was halted for a time while officials responded to the crash.

Multiple medical transportation vehicles were called to the scene, but initial reports say that a pediatric transport may have been called to the accident.

No word on how many people were injured.

Police have not said what caused the accident.
