SHARPSBURG (KDKA) — There was a rush-hour back-up in Sharpsburg Thursday after a car slammed into a building near busy Freeport Road.

The accident happened in the 2300-block of Main Street.

Police say a car driven by a 76-year-old woman crashed into the vacant, two-story building and went partially through it.

There was lots of falling bricks and broken glass, but the elderly woman wasn’t hurt.
