WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) — One person has died and another injured in a double shooting Tuesday evening in Washington County.

According to emergency dispatchers with the county, the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 900-block of Fayette Street in the City of Washington.

Police on the scene tell KDKA a male was found dead in a home.

A female had been shot several times.

She ran to a neighbor, who had just come home, for help.

He says she was shot in the arm and cheek. He took her inside his house and then called 911.

She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
