Woman Wanted For Defrauding ATM Users Arrested

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A woman accused of using fraudulent checks to swindle local people out of money was arrested Wednesday.

Police say 23-year-old Amanda Krull collected checks for a fake charity and defrauded several people in the South Hills by coercing them to deposit bad checks and give her the cash.

An anonymous tip led police to Krull, officials said.

Krull has several prior arrests for related crimes.

She was wanted on multiple charges, including theft by deception and writing bad checks.
