PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Motorists on the Parkway West should expect changing traffic patterns Sunday as PennDOT conducts overhead sign safety inspections.

Officials say the inspections will require intermittent single-lane closures between 6 a.m. and noon.

The closures on the Parkway West affect both in and outbound directions between Interstate 79 and Carnegie interchanges.

Motorists should allow for extra times when traveling through the areas.
